Jess put in another 100 miles a couple weekends ago in San Diego. She came in 26th overall out of 149 runners (90 finishers) and was the 7th woman to finish. This is what she had to say about the race:
This same race last year I ran a 25:34 and the course only had 12,000 feet of climbing. This year they changed the course and it had 18,500 feet of climbing and I ran it in 24:18! Over an hour faster with over 6,000 more feet of climbing! I felt really strong on the climbs. I think those tire drags and prowler pushes have been helping!
