Sean spent Sunday the 26th of June with good friends doing the 12 mile roundtrip to Ruth mountain in the North Cascades. Hours were added due to multiple swaths of avalanche debris and an amazing amount of late season snow. There were gorgeous views from the summit of Ruth. They could see Nooksack Cirque, The Picketts, and the back side of Shuksan. Delightful conditions off the summit with a laugh-inducing ski descent, and then lots of bushwhacking and a river crossing (their fault for trying to ski out on the wrong side of the river).
All in all, a fantastic way to put crossfit to good use :-)
